Events/activities
On the Day itself we are showcasing the city with a guided canal walk along a section of one of the city's canals in the morning and then an open top sightseeing bus tour in the afternoon on the Big Brum Buz - viewing the city from two levels!
The following week we are focussing on Birmingham's manufacturing heritage with visits to the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter and then a chance to visit one of Birmingham's surprises, The Martineau Gardens - two-and-a-half acres of organically managed landscape just a mile from the city centre, a Site of Local Importance for Nature Conservation.
