Cockermouth Civic Trust is working with Cockermouth businesses
Rather than battling with Lloyds TSB, the civic trust along with the planners is in discussion to correct unauthorised signage and improve the shop front.
These discussions have been going on for several months and if Lloyds had followed the normal procedure and submitted a planning application prior to starting the work, and not after completion, all of this could have been quietly resolved.
