Droitwich’s Civic Fortnight 10th - 24th June 2017

Nationally, Civic Day is being celebrated with numerous events on 17th June.

Droitwich Spa Civic Society have gone one better! They are celebrating Droitwich's heritage over a whole fortnight.

The focus of the event is timber-framed buildings in Droitwich town centre.

The event, is organised by Droitwich Spa Civic Society together with the support of Droitwich History & Archaeology Society will be using information gleaned from the Historic Droitwich HL project. The fortnight will give you and your friends the opportunity to see or visit buildings featured in the Historic Droitwich HL project. There will be four tours (Historic Town Tour, Historic Buildings Tour and two of St Andrew's Church) plus a self-guided tour around Staryard. Other shops and St Andrew's Church are hosting displays and we are extremely grateful to that support at a time when the High Street is being renovated, but very accessible to pedestrians with businesses functioning as normal.
