Heritage events plans outlined by Yorkshire societies
A SPECIAL launch event for the forthcoming Civic Societies Week was held at the Royal Hotel in Scarborough.
People from various societies all over the region were invited to get together yesterday and discuss their work and plans for this year's week of activities.
Adrian Perry, chairman of Scarborough Civic Society, said: "As a society we really just want to have a beautiful place to live and make it better"
