Role: Part-Time (0.7) Community Research Assistant. Fixed tern until March 2013
Salary: Circa £27.5k - £30k per annum (pro-rata) dependant on experience

Civic Voice is the national charity for the Civic Movement in England. We work with a network of community based volunteer civic societies and other groups, to promote civic pride and make the places we live more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive.
We are currently looking for a part-time research assistant, used to working with community groups, to lead a new project which will map out all current groups and organisations working in the field of the historic environment across England and to recommend how this work can be supported and strengthened.. This project is funded by English Heritage.
This promises to be an interesting and challenging opportunity for someone with an interest in communities and the historic environment. The post will be home based, but may involved frequent visits around England.
The post is offered on a fixed term contract until March 31st 2013 at a salary of circa £27,500 - £30,000 pa, pro-rata to 3.5 days per week.
This is an English Heritage funded position.
