Plans to give listed status to East Grinstead war memorial
THE East Grinstead Society has approached the town council regarding the proposed listing of the High Street war memorial.
The local authority advised it has no objections to the plan to give the war memorial protected "listed status", and the society has made an application, which may take some months to complete.
