“Tony Burton, our Director, is leaving us in March to join the Design Council. We are very sorry that he is going, but recognise this is an excellent opportunity for him, and one which will enable him to remain in touch with a lot of our work. All of us are very grateful to Tony for the tremendous amount of work he has done over the last three years to put Civic Voice firmly on the map and set us all on such a challenging and transformative path.
“The Board, in wishing Tony all the very best for the future, would also like to assure everyone that our prime consideration is the future of Civic Voice. Our programme for this year – meetings, workshops, Civic Day and AGM - will continue as planned. Ian Harvey, our Coordinator, will remain in post.
“We are taking this opportunity to review our current priorities and needs and will be publicly advertising the job of Director imminently, both in the press and on our website. We are confident our reputation will bring forward some excellent candidates.
