War Memorials

As we reflected on the events of the First World War that saw so many people make the ultimate sacrifice, Civic Voice partnered with otger organisations to ensure that the nation's war memorials were fitting tributes to the fallen.
Our project, as part of the national commemorative events, helped conserve and protect the nation's war memorials for the long term as well as ensuring there are skilled volunteers available to assess their condition and take steps to preserve them in the proper way.
The following is a summary from the programme. If you want updated information on war memorials or the First World War Memorial Programme, please visit http://www.ukwarmemorials.org/
