Is there anything planned in the Localisation Bill to recognise and support the wider responsibilities of Market Towns to serve their rural hinterlands?

We’re not hearing that this is likely to feature in the legislation - and most of the issues are likely to be matters of policy or funding rather than needing a change to the law.  There will be measures to encourage communities to take over important local services and buildings as well as the expected planning reforms.
