Civic Voice and Civic Societies share submissions to NPPF consultation
Several Civic Voice members have kindly shared their responses to the National Planning Policy Framework consultation with Government, and we are pleased to make these available for others to review, along with Civic Voice's consultation response. You can read them all below.
These submissions reflect the diverse perspectives of civic societies across the country and highlight the important role communities play in shaping planning policy.
Ian Harvey, Executive Director of Civic Voice, said: "Throughout Civic Voice's own engagement on the NPPF consultation, we have received over 700 submissions from surveys and email contributions. Whether it’s discussing the delivery of truly affordable homes, exploring the grey belt, or considering the impact of the return to regional planning, civic societies across the country are putting forward views on how these reforms will impact their local area. It's inspiring to see civic societies engaging so actively with the NPPF consultation. Their input is crucial in ensuring that local voices are heard and valued in national policy discussions."
We thank the following societies for their contributions and their willingness to share their responses:
- Bristol Civic Society
- Kings Lynn Civic Society
- Leeds Civic Trust
- Matlock Civic Association
- Taplow Society
- The Aylesbury Society
- The Highgate Society
- Wakefield Civic Society
- Wimbledon Society
