Civic Voice achieves a significant milestone as more communities continue to support our work
In just three weeks since membership applications opened for the new membership year, we are pleased to announce that over 100 different communities have pledged support to Civic Voice for the 2023/2024 membership year.
As the national charity for the civic movement in England, Civic Voice has been tirelessly working to support and empower local communities, especially during the challenging past two years. The overwhelming response from our members demonstrates the importance of our work.
At Civic Voice, we offer a range of services and resources to support our members, including training, guidance, and networking opportunities. We also campaign on national issues such as the evolution of high streets, protection of community spaces, and promotion of the historic environment, all with the mission to promote pride in place.
However, our most significant contribution is giving a voice to local communities. We provide a platform for people to come together, share their ideas and experiences, and work towards creating better places to live. Civic Voice believes in the power of collective action and empowers our members to improve their local areas for the benefit of all.
As we look to the future, we remain optimistic. The civic movement is growing in strength and influence, and Civic Voice is at the forefront. With the unwavering support of our members, we will continue to champion the interests of local communities, promote the importance of civic engagement, and help create vibrant, sustainable places where people can thrive.
If you are not already a member of Civic Voice, we encourage you to join us. Together, we can make a difference and shape the future of our towns and cities. You can access information on joining Civic Voice at https://www.civicvoice.org.uk/join/.
